When We Dead Awaken II consists of an outdoor area with parks, gardens and hedges, two houses each with a basement, and an underground passage leading between the two basements.
T he bigger of the two houses also has an upstairs floor and a small attic/outdoor roof above that.

Some of the operations and puzzles of WDA II may be performed/solved in no particular order. The description follows basically one order but in some instances different options are described.

START POSITION – Get noticed by the first gunslinger to the left, wait by the corner and kill him with your knife. Then deal with the next gunslinger likewise.

Resort to the mermaid for healing while fighting the two brown cloaks.

Find a revolver and extra ammo here. The monster plant is blocking the passage to the west. Fight gunslingers coming in from different adjoining areas.

Proceed through this door. Beware enemies shooting at you through some of the windows when you turn the corner.

At this point destroy the ghost jar with your knife to save ammo.

Take up position by this window. Shoot the barrel you see within. This will alarm a Death Knight and a gunslinger who will come at you through the locked door. Shoot both, and at least one of them in the doorway to make the door stay open. Leave the ammo within until you have passed the fake ammo box, then take what you need, and the health chalice, but know that you can always go back to the mermaid for full healing.

Continue into the next hallway and fight your way to the library. Take shelter by the bookshelves but don't get too close to the blinking skull lamp!
A Black cloak will leave you a plasma cannon. Two Death Knights may have waited in the elevators, deal with them.

Destroy the ghost jar in the store room and get the cross. Clean the kitchen of any gunslingers lingering there.

If the door to the music room was opened/remained open you will easily have been noticed by some skeletons and ghosts. In that case you will have to dodge them.

Go down to the basement via the elevator in the entrance hallway.

Find yourself here. Have the brown cloak come at you and shoot him in the elevator door making it stay open. Alarm the enemies in the next rooms, you must step on some poison.
Back into the elevator and kill as many as possible by blowing up the barrels. There is a 1-up in the first room.

Find the brass key here.

Take the death chalice and run into the nearest (doorless) cell where you find the axe.
Turn around and switch to a suitable weapon (plasma cannon or spreadfire gun) for the Death Knights, then switch quickly back to the axe for the ghosts.

Go back up the the ground floor. (If the door to the music room remained open several gunslingers, skeletons and ghosts will come at you.)

Destroy this mirror, push the wall, kill the ghost and get the cross.

Go back to the opening area and take up position by this monster plant. Switch to the plasma cannon and shoot at the well to the left behind the monster plant. The plasma ball will bounce back at a nearby barrel, blow it up, and destroy the blinking skull lamp to the left. Pass by the destroyed lamp, turn left and shoot the nearest gunslinger.

Make it quickly south through the next opening in the hedge and fight all the enemies coming after you. Find more plasma ammo to the south.

Take some shelter by the stone structure with glass windows, but don't get surprised by enemies waiting around corners. There is a 1-up at the southwestern corner (if you came here without the axe you can't take it yet, some ghosts to the north will notice you). Kill all the enemies in this area, a pirate will leave you a missile launcher. Find more missiles in the niches of the stone structure.

Make it here and deal with the remaining enemies in this garden. Again beware enemies shooting at you from the windows. Destroy the ghost jar and take the first death chalice.

Then tour the smaller house and get rid of all the enemies in your way so you won't have to deal with them later. Find another 1-up at this end.

Re-enter the bigger house and take this elevator to the upstairs floor.
